About Vijay Sharon Govender
I am a North American artist focusing on photography and mixed media painting. Ever since I can recall being in this world, my life was about art. My mum describes me holding a pen in my hand and scribbling at nine months- I never stopped. Every step of the way my life has been evolving in the arts Although I am a trained artist with degrees in art, I believe my real training was experimenting with various mediums and having fun as art spontaneously created itself. Hi Tara I used Dr Ph Martins Acrylic inks. There is also FW and Bombay inks but make sure they are fade resisitant. For textures I use real leaves on ink, and may sometimes get an impression with gesso and work the ink over it. Vijay
