Vijay Sharon Govender

I am a North American artist focusing on photography and mixed media painting. Ever since I can recall being in this world, my life was about art. My mum describes me holding a pen in my hand and scribbling at nine months- I never stopped. Every step of the way my life has been evolving in the arts Although I am a trained artist with degrees in art, I believe my real training was experimenting with various mediums and having fun as art spontaneously created itself. I spent many years working with clay and glazes Recently I have decided to focus on my longest lasting passions- mixed media and photography.
